SRK Consulting (Kazakhstan) and Afghanite Geo & Mining Engineering Services signed an MoU
June 6, 2014 – SRK Consulting (Kazakhstan) Limited and Afghanite Geo & Mining Engineering Services Company have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to consolidate efforts in providing world-class consulting services to the exploration and mining sector in Afghanistan.
Under the MoU, SRK will bring its global consulting expertise and provide technical supervision and training to local engineers. Afghanite will provide the support at the government and local level, seek new projects and ensure logistical, transport, security and other practical issues in the field.
Afghanistan has a long way ahead toward sustainable development. Proper use of natural resources is the way to provide both short- and long-term development.
Established in 2013, Afghanite is a wholly owned Afghan company by a group of talented experienced Geologist, Mining and Civil Engineers with high qualification in the areas of Geo & Mining Engineering, Environmental studies, Geotechnics and Construction services in Afghanistan.
