10th meeting of the Almaty Mining Club

June 23, 2014 -- SRK Consulting (Kazakhstan) together with Micromine-Cental Asia and kazakhstan mining portal "Mining.kz" have conducted the 10th meeting of the Almaty Mining Club. Director of Micromine-Central Asia Arman Anapiayev and consultant geologist Dmitry Nenashev have presented the new version of Micromine 2014 software package.

The Almaty Mining Club was conceived in 2011 by SRK Consulting (Kazakhstan), KPMG, and the Central Asian Mining Union to provide a regular focused forum for discussions on current issues facing the industry, bringing together miners, suppliers, Government agents and financiers all with a stake in the dynamic mining and minerals business. After three years, the Club has become a regular get-together of mining people in Almaty, providing a venue where industry people can all gather, meet new and old faces, and gain new insights to current events.

Informative but informal, the agenda usually include one or two brief presentations on a current topic, followed by a chance to discuss matters and meet other professionals connected to the mining industry in informal settings.
