Azamat Zhumagaliyev

Azamat Zhumagaliyev is a Consultant Geologist with SRK Consulting (Kazakhstan). He completed MSc studies in Structural Geology in Nice Sophia Antipolis University. After graduation from the East Kazakhstan Technical University, he had worked over six years on exploration projects for deposits of various genesis: VMS, copper porphyry, epithermal gold and infiltration uranium. During his studies in France, Azamat studied the processes of formation of the French Alps, volcanism of Massif Central, metamorphism and subduction zone of the island of Corsica, overthrust fold system of Digne region, neotectonics of New Zealand, etc. Since joining SRK in 2019, Azamat has worked on geological and structural logging of copper-porphyry and polymetallic deposits in Central Asia. He is a qualified user of Micromine, QGIS, ER Mapper, WellCad, Python, acQuire and IQ-logger.
